Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed via our website for custom-painted and refinished items (such as sneakers, jackets and other supplied or sourced textiles/goods). Our primary target market is Switzerland, though delivery to Germany is possible on request. By placing an order, you accept these Terms & Conditions. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF).

2. Contract Formation, Deposit & Pricing

Deposit & Pricing

After placing an order, a 50% deposit based on the initial approximate price range becomes due. Work or procurement only begins once this deposit has been received. Once the final design has been developed, the customer receives a binding, definitive price.

Payment Methods

We accept TWINT and bank transfer. For customers in Germany, payment is also handled via bank transfer (any cross-border fees are to be borne by the customer).

Cancellation After Deposit

If the customer cancels the order after the deposit has been paid but before work (design, painting or procurement) has begun, the deposit will be refunded minus any costs already incurred (e.g. design draft). If work or procurement has already begun, the deposit is forfeited in full, as it covers the effort already invested and any goods already ordered.

3. Supply or Procurement of Items (Sneakers, Jackets etc.)

New items only: We do not paint used items. Only new shoes, jackets or other items are processed.

Customer-supplied items: The customer sends new, unworn items to us at their own cost and risk.

Procurement by us: Alternatively, once the deposit has been paid, we can order the items directly on the customer's behalf. This is done exclusively through authorised, trustworthy retailers (such as Footlocker, Zalando, Nike or official brand stores), never through dubious third-party sellers.

4. Delivery Times, Shipping, Pickup & Handover

Turnaround time: Processing and delivery generally takes at least 4–6 weeks from receipt or successful procurement of the item, unless otherwise agreed. A desired delivery date entered in the request form is a non-binding preference and will be accommodated where possible, but does not constitute a guaranteed fixed delivery date.

Standard shipping (included): Standard delivery costs for Switzerland and Germany (standard shipping / PostPac Economy or B-Post) are included in the price. This shipping method carries no transport insurance and is at the customer's risk.

Insured shipping: Insured shipping is available on request, with the customer covering the full additional cost.

Self-pickup / personal handover: For local customers, by arrangement, items can be picked up in person or handed over/collected directly. Risk transfers to the customer at the point of personal handover.

5. No Right of Return & Custom-Made Items

Since all products are made individually to the customer's specifications, there is no right of return or withdrawal.

The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of sizes provided in the order form (or standard sizing for jackets etc.). Incorrectly ordered sizes or mistaken orders are not the seller's responsibility and do not entitle the customer to a return or refund.

Artistic freedom. Jedy Custom Sneakers is an artistic craft, not a copying or reproduction service. Reference photos, sketches or templates provided by the customer serve as inspiration and the basis for the design template, but are interpreted and executed within the artist's own creative style. Minor deviations in detail, colour nuance or stylistic execution – provided the agreed core motif is recognisably implemented – do not constitute a defect and do not entitle the customer to a return, refund or free rework.

6. Disclaimer & Material Notice (Colour Fastness)

Despite the utmost care, professional preparation and the use of specialised paints for textiles and leather, it can never be 100% guaranteed that the colour will last forever.

Defects before handover. If defects in the paintwork become apparent before the item is handed over or shipped to the customer (e.g. if the paint detaches or flakes immediately after completion, before shipping), this is the responsibility of Jedy Custom Sneakers. Such defects will be reworked free of charge wherever possible.

Sneakers, jackets and refinished items are everyday objects. Heavy or improper wear, excessive strain, friction or incorrect care can, despite the painting, lead to damage, cracking or wear on the artwork. Such damage is excluded from our warranty.

Voiding of manufacturer's warranty. Processing or painting the original item (e.g. a shoe) generally voids any manufacturer's warranty on the original product. No responsibility can be assumed for this.

No warranty. No voluntary warranty beyond the statutory warranty under Swiss law (Art. 197 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations) is granted. In particular, Jedy Custom Sneakers assumes no voluntary warranty regarding the durability, colour fastness, scratch resistance or other properties of the processed or delivered items.

7. Copyright & Image Material

We reserve the right to use photos and videos of completed, painted items for our own marketing purposes (e.g. website, social media such as Instagram or TikTok), unless the customer explicitly objects in writing.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

For customers residing in Switzerland, Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the provider's registered seat.

For orders from Germany, Swiss law likewise applies; mandatory consumer protection provisions of the customer's country of residence remain unaffected within the limits permitted by law.
